What is ‘The Magic of Ibiza”

We asked Google about the Magic of Ibiza

People always speak about the magic of Ibiza, is it leylines, is it the goddess Tanit, is it something else? We ask google and this is what we found out;
This way to paradise told us ” Ibiza Has The Most Jaw-Dropping Beaches In The World. Seriously. I have been to many beaches all over the world, and none have hit me like the beaches on Ibiza. Ibiza has some of the most beautiful water in the world. Clear and many different shades of blue. Rock formations and small islands seem to emerge from the water wherever you go”

Ibiza Retreats say “Connecting you with the magical of Ibiza – the transformational, healing energies that make this white island so magnetic. Whether you put it down to the quartz in the soil, over 300 days of sunshine each year, or the many beautiful beaches and hidden turquoise coves. The white light that bounces off the sparkling waters, or the beauty of the nature that surrounds you, your being will want to be well here.”

W Travel go on to elaborate on the Magic of Ibiza  ‘the hippies also knew how to explore the magic sites of the island. They discovered certain places with a natural energy ideal for spiritual practices and ancestral rite celebrations. On Benirrás beach, in the north of the island, you can still attend to the drum party to praise the sunsets on summer Sundays. Other chosen corners were Punta Galera or Atlantis for their fascinating beauty and enigmatic charm. Atlantis, as the hippies called this place in reference to the myth of the Atlantis island loss, is officially known as Sa Pedrera of Cala d’Hort. This is an old quarry from where the stones were removed to build part of the Dalt Vila walls in the XVI century. Furthermore, according to a legend these stones were also used for the Egyptian pyramids. The curious diagonal slashes of the rocks create strange stepped structures by where the water from the sea slips through and forms natural pools. Among the walls it can be found small altars, carved drawings and images, many of them Buddhist and Hindu symbols and divinities. Possibly due to the strong influence that these philosophies and Eastern religions had in the hippy movement.”

and finally Wander Life  tells us “Es Vedra, Ibiza. The 3rd most magnetic spot on Earth. While you’re here in Ibiza, chances are that comes to mind are some of the best night clubs in the world. And yes, while Amnesia and Pacha are a must see on the island, there is much more than just partying to experience on this mysterious island. My 2015 trip to Ibiza with Together Week (which you can read all about here) was a trip I won’t be forgetting anytime soon. While there are without a doubt some shady not so clear memories of nights out, there was one trip in particular while in Ibiza that is vividly clear in my memory, my visit to see the mysterious Es Vedra. Es Vedra is a uninhabited limestone rock island soaring 400metres above sea level and situated  2-3km off the western coast line of Ibiza. It can be viewed perfectly from a cliff along the Ibiza coast line. Describing Es Vedra is hard to put into words, it’s a place of natural beauty, intense power and magic that needs to be experienced to be understood.”
